Do you help with planning our engagement/love story session?

Absolutely. I’ll guide you through everything — from choosing the right time of day for the most flattering light, to suggesting outfits and little details that make your photos look natural and timeless. I want you to feel relaxed and fully present with each other, so I’ll also provide tips on how to interact in front of the camera to capture genuine emotions and moments.

HOw many photos will we receive?

The number of photos depends on the package you choose. I focus on quality over quantity, ensuring every image is thoughtfully edited and reflects the beauty of your story. You’ll receive a mix of portraits, candid moments, and artistic shots.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Life happens, and I completely understand. Please notify me at least 24 hours before your scheduled session if you need to cancel or reschedule. In that case, we’ll simply find another date that works for both of us. This ensures that I can keep my calendar open for other clients while still being flexible for you.

What should we wear for our session?

I recommend light, neutral, or earthy tones — they blend beautifully with Costa Rica’s beaches, lush greenery, and ocean backdrop. Soft shades of beige, cream, white, olive, or muted blues photograph especially well and create a timeless look. It’s best to avoid busy patterns or logos, as they can distract from the natural setting. Most importantly, choose outfits that make you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself. If you’d like extra guidance, I’ll share a style guide to help you coordinate as a couple, family, or group.

Can we bring props or special items to our shoot?

Of course! Personal touches like flowers, a guitar, or even a picnic setup can make your photos even more meaningful. If you’d like, I can help with ideas and inspiration.

Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! This is your session, and I want it to reflect your vision. If you have certain poses, moments, or inspirations in mind, feel free to share them with me before or during the shoot. I’ll always do my best to bring your ideas to life while also guiding you with natural prompts and candid moments. Together, we’ll create a balance of the shots you dream of and the spontaneous beauty that unfolds in the moment.

Can we meet before the session?

Yes, of course! I’d love to connect with you before your shoot. We can meet in person here in Sámara (over a coffee by the beach☕) or have a quick video call if that’s easier. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, talk about your vision, go over locations and outfit ideas, and make sure you feel comfortable and excited before the day of your session.

How long till I receive the final photos?

Your fully edited collection will be ready within 2–5 weeks after your session. I take great care in editing each image so that the colors, light, and details reflect the true beauty of your story, while still delivering in a timely way.
